Kazakhstan GGTN-K Permit To Use certificate:
For many goods destined for potentially dangerous industrial locations in Kazakhstan, an additional permit is required. This is the "Permit of State Inspection for Prevention and Elimination of Extreme Situations" issued by the Agency for Extreme Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan (this is an equivalent to Russian GGTN Permit). This permit is required to indicate that potentially dangerous equipment meets Kazakhstan’s safety standards, and is safe to put into operation. Any goods handling, for example, oil or natural gas would automatically fall into this category, as these are considered dangerous fluids. This permit is required in order to start up the equipment or plant. Without it, the plant cannot be commissioned. Typically, the necessary calculations are done including a review of the maintenance and repair procedures, review of control systems, hydraulic tests, non-destructive tests etc.; and a review of the possible effects on the environment, such as discharges, leakages etc.
